Le Selezioni P&V Asiago nero is a semi-cooked paste cheese produced using cow milk from Italian dairy farms located within a well-defined territory between the provinces of Vicenza, Trento and the bordering areas of Padua and Treviso.
The rind is thin and elastic, the paste is white or slightly straw-coloured with marked and irregular eye formation. The flavour is intense, with pungent notes, and the aroma recalls hints of dried fruit and butter.
It is excellent both enjoyed on its own and accompanied by seasonal vegetables and fresh fruit. Perfect to enrich a platter of cold meats and cheeses.
