Le Selezioni P&V 8-14 month PDO Comté cheese has a firm texture and a semi-hard rind with a golden yellow colour. Strictly made from raw milk processed within hours of milking, this cheese encapsulates all the flavour of the french region of Comté. The milk comes from cows grazing in the Jura lands.
Its hard paste encapsulates particular and intense aromas reminiscent of butter and hazelnut.
It is a very versatile cheese that can be presented as an appetiser or on a charcuterie board. You can pair it with either a dry white wine or a red wine such as Pinot Noir.
