Produced in Sicily, in the Iblei Mountains, Frantoi Cutrera Primo extra virgin olive oil has an intensely fruity aroma with pronounced notes of green tomato, freshly cut grass and fresh herbs. It has a full-bodied flavor and the bitterness and spiciness are perfectly balanced.
“Primo” ("First" in English) in name and in fact: the extra virgin olive oil monocultivar Primo DOP encapsulates in its name its own history, in fact obtained from olives of the first harvest of the year, it was the first oil of Frantoi Cutrera to be awarded in 2001 and the first evo certified DOP Monti Iblei.
Excellent on grilled meat and fish, soups and salads, bruschetta, capresi and raw on vegetables and greens.
