Le Selezioni P&V Medoro pecorino sardo cheese is a semi-cooked cheese with an intense aroma and a particularly marked flavour, typical of the Sardinian cheese-making tradition.
The rind is smooth and treated on the surface with olive oil; the paste is compact, more or less hard depending on the seasoning and straw-yellow in colour.
It is perfect when paired with cured meats, homemade bread and a full-bodied red wine. It is very versatile and when grated it gives a unique flavour to pasta and soups. It is delicious in traditional Sardinian dishes and in all recipes where an intensely flavoured gratinated cheese is needed.
