Italian Fontal is made from cow’s milk and has a compact, soft texture with a white to light straw color.
Its name comes from the combination of Fontina and Emmenthal cheeses, whose characteristics it combines, featuring a sweet flavor with subtle hints of milk and barn notes. Ideal to enjoy with ciabatta-type bread, blueberry or orange jam, and honey. It pairs well with low-alcohol white wines or light beers.
