Linguine Integrali Le Eccellenze di P&V is obtained from wholemeal durum wheat semolina which, compared to traditional pasta, is the result of a different processing of the grain.
There are many reasons to prefer wholemeal pasta to the traditional one. These are mainly related to the low lipid content,
to the considerable quantity of fibers and the presence of important vegetable proteins which are healthier than those of refined flours.
The ideal is not to weigh down the pasta dish with rich, fatty sauces, but prefer a sauce based on vegetables sautéed and seasoned raw with extra-virgin olive oil.
